Bullet in the Head

Yesterday, I posted an article, “The Parallax Effect” and suggested that behind the scenes, Republican and Democratic power brokers and big dollar donors are grousing over their leading candidates and looking at other options. They’re a greedy bunch and they really don’t give a damn about the average American, but money and power are at stake and that catches their attention. What’s got them really concerned is that the average American views a Trump vs Biden rematch as a bullet-in-the-head scenario. You get to choose between Trump, Biden, or a bullet in the head- recent polling suggests bullet-in-the-head has a slight lead. I know that’s a cynical outlook but look at the candidates. The special counsel described Joe Biden as, “… a well-meaning, elderly man with poor memory…”. He consults with dead French presidents, trips over everything, works a little when Jill allows it, sniffs women’s hair and can’t remember when he was Vice President. He does have one overwhelming factor that got him elected- his name isn’t Trump. Kamala Harris, Joe’s running mate, is by most accounts a very nice lady who giggles a lot, she got the job because she’s a black female and most agree, “she hasn’t seen the ball since kickoff!” Joe’s opponent is Donald Trump, a game show producer who got elected president because Hillary Clinton was even more obnoxious than him. The Republican base loves him, but that’s only 30% of the electorate the other 70% would vote for a grilled cheese sandwich if it was running against Trump. As strong as he is in a Republican primary, he’s equally weak in a general election. He’s currently facing 91 felony indictments, an array of civil suits and has trouble controlling his mouth. He craves adoration and adulation, has had his share of problems with women and most people who have worked for him for any length of time tend to have either “co-defendant” or “flip witness” behind their name. I’m guessing they’re not thrilled with the prospect of trading their commissary ice cream bars to avoid sexual enslavement in federal prison. As for the power brokers and money men, they’ll stay behind the scenes trying to weasel out of a situation they created…the rest of us will be write in voters for bullet in the head….
