Insight, or Crow on the Menu

Well, Tuesday is the big game, and this is the pregame show. I’m making my predictions here because I’m too lazy to walk all the way down to the Circle K and write it on the restroom wall with a black magic marker. Much is being made about the massive turnout for early voting, but I seriously doubt it’s a love fest for either candidate. I think it has more to do with not wanting to stand in line in the hot sun for eight hours on election day- voters are smarter than pollsters or politicians. At the end of the day, Kamala Harris is going to be your next president, and it won’t be as close as everyone thinks. This election has always been about the swing vote in the middle, and the polls can’t read them. The swing voters, along with nor talking to pollsters, don’t really like either candidate. Much like P.J. O’Rourke said about Hillary Clinton when she was running against Trump, Kamala Harris is wrong about absolutely everything, but she’s wrong within normal parameters. Trump is outside the normal parameters on everything- Trump didn’t lose the middle, he never had it, Kamala Harris got it by default. This election will be won by female voters, and they’ll turn out in record numbers. Trump lost the election the day he said he was proud of having appointed the three Supreme Justices that overturned Roe vs Wade. It won’t be the economy that cooks Trump’s goose, it’ll be abortion, and Trump’s big mouth… So, there it is, I’m out on a limb. Wednesday morning, I’m either insightful, or I’m out in the backyard looking for a nice, tender crow to eat!!!
