Trump, Biden, and Napoleon

In his latest scam, the apparent (at least for now) Republican candidate for President is selling Bibles. So, for any Trump supporter who hasn’t already emptied their savings account contributing to his reelection campaign, which continues to look an awful lot like a Ponzi Scheme to pay his legal bills, here’s a chance to get a Trump-approved copy of the good book. He’ll sell a bunch of those Bibles, because he’s the darling of about 30% of voters, largely older, Christian, white males who live in a rural area, or small town and want things the way they were in the old days, back before the Commies invented the internet, legalized marijuana, put dirty books on the magazine rack and gave voting rights to those pesky black people and other assorted nuisances that have ruined this country. Trump is systematically digging himself into a deeper hole, verbally, financially, and legally. He’s a man prone to throwing childish fits and making decisions based on anger and emotion, and he’ll get more desperate as the trials approach and the money gets tighter. I understand that he’s playing to his base, and they’ll show up for him, but 30% buys you a second-place finish. That middle group of voters are 40% of the total, and they think Trump is a gibbering idiot. So, what is Joe Biden doing through all this? Absolutely nothing, one of his advisors got him aside and reminded him what Napoleon said, “…when your enemy is busy destroying himself, don’t interfere….”
